I DISCOVERED by chance that the mobile breast screening unit is visiting the hospital in Couch Lane in Devizes.
I have not seen this vital service advertised anywhere in the town or in your newspaper. When I lived in Essex this unit parked at a major supermarket where at least it was visible.
I read in my newspaper today that breast cancer is one of the four major cancers to afflict us. We are in danger of missing an opportunity for early diagnosis and treatment.
