MANY years ago, if a fault of any kind was reported to the manager of Chippenham public toilets, whose responsibility it was, he or she would immediately deal with the reported problem.
Why is it not possible in this day and age to deal with the following faults in the men’s public toilets at Emery Gate? It has been at least six weeks that one of the two cubicles has no seat, and the other cubicle, on a regular basis, is full of unflushed, used toilet paper.
I read about initiatives, enterprises, etc affecting Chippenham. It is a pleasant, friendly town, but one if I was a visitor, would not care to revisit because of its lack of public toilets.
With a population of more than 20,000 people, surely we can afford a £15 toilet seat.
Yours with a sigh.
