THE dedication, community spirit (and patience in cold conditions) of the people of Calne to achieve the Live Nativity record was
recognised in the local press and beyond. The event warranted no less than three mentions in the Telegraph – including warm compliments in that newspaper’s editorial column.
I and many of my Calne friends were saddened not to see any mention in any coverage of the one person we recognise as the tireless motivator who did so much to make it happen.
