The Wharf Theatre will be rocking with laughter all next week, as their Christmas show takes to the stage.
Created by the theatre’s very own team of Socket, Sprocket and Wrench, it has been written by Leslie Scholes, produced by Tina Duffin and is directed by Merrily Powell. In an English village, a group of keen local amateurs are rehearsing the annual pantomime. Despite a shortage of dramatic talent, a recognisable script and young men in the cast, they carry on regardless, with hilarious results.
The show is suitable for all ages over five. Tickets include a mince pie and drink in the interval, with all proceeds from the first night going to the Mayor’s Appeal.
