When Samantha Jones opened her dance school in Chippenham three years ago, it was the culmination of an ambition and more than 20 years of hard work training, dancing and working to get her qualifications.

The school’s students can attend classes in ballet, modern, tap, acro, lyrical, SMC, hiphop, stretching and toning and stage. There are classes to suit everyone, and whether they come to take exams and try out in competitions or just for fun, they alll participate in the annual show, which they enjoy immensely.

To bring Thank you for the Music to the stage they have already worked hard to raise money to host the show, with many pub quiz evenings, car boot sales and bag packing.

This year the chosen charity is The Teenage Cancer Trust, a favourite of Samantha’s, for which they will be making a collection and donation. The school raised more than £1,100 from its first gala and last year the performers were joined by Rudolph Walker (Patrick Truman from Eastenders).
