The Western Players’ summer production, at the Arts Centre, Devizes Road, Old Town, Swindon, from June 18-21, is Nightmare, by Norman Robbins.
This suspense-filled drama, directed by Stu Jackson, focuses on the fortunes of Marion Bishop, an elderly romantic novelist. Problems arise when Marion’s carer Katherine, who also looks after a handicapped brother, is away at a cousin’s wedding in Scotland.
A web of intrigue involves blackmail, murder and deceit before an ingenious twist provides a startling denouement.
Performances are nightly at 7.30pm.
