Singer's charismatic stage presence worthy of an encore performance
10:23am Tuesday 17th June 2008 in Leisure
Gwyneth Herbert performed a superb concert at the recent Devizes Festival event at the Town Hall.
Playing mainly songs from her latest, highly acclaimed CD "Between Me and the Wardrobe," she showed why she is rated one of the leading singer songwriters on the UK Music Scene.
However, what remains in the memory is her charismatic stage presence, beautiful voice and her ability to live a lyric. With her excellent band, this was one of the most enjoyable and entertaining concerts that has been held at the Festival.
Gwyneth enjoyed the concert so much that she has agreed to play a one off concert at The Bear's jazz club in The Cellar Bar early in the New Year. This will be an essential concert for people who appreciate outstanding music and singing.
