Jessie's hopeful is a knockout

Jessie J is bowled over by the efforts of one of her contestants on The Voice - when she is on the receiving end of a rugby tackle.

The Do It Like A Dude singer was encouraging her hopeful Becky Hill with an empowering hug during rehearsals.

But Becky went in too hard and managed to knock her coach off her feet to land on her back, in footage to be screened in this weekend's show.

The tackle was part of their rehearsal session and intended as a light-hearted bit of fun, but Becky proved too powerful, sending Jessie crashing to the ground.

"So sorry, I really am," gushed Becky.

And Jessie predicted that the clip would be repeated "over and over" in slow motion, during the show.

Programme bosses will be hoping to boost their fortunes this weekend now it no longer has competition from ITV1's Britain's Got Talent.

Last weekend The Voice pulled in an average of just 5.6 million viewers, against the final of BGT which drew more than 11 million.
