An all-girl dance troupe have already won a spot in the Britain’s Got Talent semi-final after wowing judge Alesha Dixon.

The star pushed the coveted Golden Buzzer for five-piece group Just Us, whose lead member battles with the spinal condition scoliosis.

The young dancer said it was a “dream come true” to receive the accolade as she told how she will soon be undergoing surgery that will stop her from dancing.

Saturday’s Golden Buzzer moment marked the second in as many weeks, after Simon Cowell gave his to teen singer Sarah Ikumu for her rendition of And I Am Telling You in last weekend’s opening show.

Just Us travelled from their home in the Wirral to Blackpool for the ITV contest’s second round of auditions, and their performance was met with a standing ovation from both the audience and the judges.

Joining them on stage for a group hug, Alesha said: “I couldn’t imagine doing that.

“We all live for the things we love to do. It touched me so much.”

Simon commended the group’s friendship and determination, adding that the Golden Buzzer “could not be more deserved”.

But while Just Us undoubtedly received the highest praise of the night, the show spelled success for a number of acts who managed to win a full house of yeses.

Eight-year-old magician Issy Simpson impressed with her meticulously planned run of astonishing tricks that left Simon needing a five-second breather.

Teenage singer Reuben Gray melted hearts both with his original song and his breakdown of emotion when he realised his father had travelled from overseas to be in the audience.

Meanwhile, young daredevil Charley Dyson, nine, left Amanda Holden with her “heart in her mouth” as he turned hair-raising somersaults on his scooter.

However, reviews were less positive for a bizarre one-man band act, a stripping female Charlie Chaplin and an entirely different Simon Cowell, who presented his “talent” of sticking spoons to his face.

But all cringeworthy moments were forgotten as stand-up comedian Jonny Awsum rounded off the show with a hilarious mini musical.

He pulled presenters Ant and Dec on to the stage for the big spectacular, which Amanda described as deserving of an OBE.
