Amal Clooney has wowed another audience with her sense of style as she arrived at a London event in a stunning bright red dress.

Due to give birth to twins in just three months, she dressed her bump in the flattering knee-length dress, matched with a beige coat and colourful sling-back shoes.

The human rights lawyer gave a speech on the plight of the Yazidis in Iraq – a Kurdish-speaking minority group marginalised by Islamic State – at a discussion hosted by international think tank Chatham House on Wednesday.

The 39-year-old campaigner is regularly praised for her impeccable wardrobe.

She impressed followers of the Cesar Awards in France last month with a dazzling white gown ending in a trailing skirt of shaded feathers.

At last year’s Cannes film festival she wore an elegant single-shouldered cream gown with a thigh-high slit and a snaking train.

On the red carpet to promote her husband George’s 2016 movie Hail, Caesar she went to the other end of the colour spectrum in a shimmering black gown with a net overlay.

At another premiere for the film days before, she wore a fun white minidress emblazoned with bright red flowers and complimented by matching lipstick.

She also opted for a higher hemline at the Our Brand Is Crisis premiere in Los Angeles in 2015, choosing a glittering 1960s-inspired pink number with a ruffled neckline.

However, she broke the wedding dress tradition when she married George at a civil ceremony in Venice, Italy, in 2014.

Instead of the standard white gown, she brought an air of dolce vita glamour with a loose-fitting cream top and trousers with black trim and a matching oversized hat.
