Run From Robots are heading to Devizes
Following in the footsteps of A Fate Untold and Underline The Sky, Bristol-based Polished Punk band Run From Robots come to The bell by the Green off the back of a successful Scuzz TV video campaign, in the shape of their debut single, On Top Of The World”, which has been receiving plays since Chrismas. Warming up for an eight-date UK tour, the band are treaking up and down the country with Hey Alaska, promoting their debut album Rust” due for release through Glasstone Records this spring. You can pick up the single for free, by signing up to their mailing list at http://www.runfromrobots.co.uk Main billed support comes from another Bristol act, though their members are all ex-Wiltshire, Smile, Look Alive turn up for their fourth Devizes appearance. With a new EP slated for imminent release, the pop punkers have been showing up on all manner of amazing bills recently, notably proping up Decade on selected UK tour dates. Expect a lot of baying girls, desperate for a floppy fringe fix.
A brand new act opens proceedings. Trowbridge area newbies Nathan Detriot feature a classic, straight up, pop punk sound, steeped in the history of the genre, going back to its roots.
