Summer at Bowood 2008
KT's biggest fan misses out
KT Tunstall's biggest fan - her brother Dan - will be missing when she performs at Bowood next month as part of The Rose Tree Jam.
Her parents will travel from Scotland for her performance on June 28 but ironically Mr Tunstall, who lives in Devizes, has to go to London for a tennis commitment.
He said: "I am really gutted as I have to coach in London that day and cannot go after all. My parents will be going and lots of folk I know from around here and I will be thinking of them."
But he is hoping to see her the following day when she performs at a concert in Hyde Park.
"If that happens I will stay at her house in London and have a meal with her. I have not seen her since I went on tour with her in March so we need to catch up."
Mr Tunstall, who was born with severe hearing problems and has competed for Great Britain at tennis in the deaf Olympics is now able to hear his sister's music.
He had a cochlear implant a couple of years ago which gave him some hearing but now a new attachment to it has made a big difference.
He said: "For the first time I can plug into an ipod and I I hear her songs much more clearly.
"She has had a very successful three months of touring, first in the southern hemisphere and now in the States. Her reviews have been very positive."
Mr Tunstall thinks KT is going to love Bowood as a venue.
He said: "She is in Glastonbury the night before and I think it will be just the place for her to be after that , calmer and more beautiful."
The Rose Tree Jam is being held at Bowood on June 27 when Mark Ronson will headline and June 28 when Athlete will join KT.
