Summer at Bowood 2008
Perfect mix of music in a dream setting

| KT Tunstall |
DEVIZES tennis ace Dan Tunstall will be leading the cheering when his sister KT takes to the stage as part of a festival at Bowood Estate, near Calne.
She will be appearing at The Rose Tree Jam, which is supported by the Gazette and Herald, on June 28 along with Athlete.
It will be the first time that KT has performed at a gig in Wiltshire and her brother, who is a coach at Devizes Tennis Club, is her biggest fan.
He was born deaf but cochlear implants mean he can now hear his sister's music.
KT says she has been inspired by her brother's determination to overcome his handicap.
She said: "Dan's taught me a lot. He does speeches about tennis - and not just to deaf people. He's inspiring - he really has absolutely flown in the face of adversity. And he's just a lovely, lovely person. He's got a sparkle in his eye that boy."
Festival organiser James Walden believes the Bowood venue and the style of music will be a perfect mix.
He said: "This is not a sprawling festival where you have to spend miles walking to set up a tent.

| Mark Ronson |
"We are all about live music in a setting only dreams are made of.
"Wiltshire is often the forgotten county when it comes to big live acts touring the country, we felt it was time to bring the biggest and best to Bowood.
"The two nights offer varied and different line ups, with rock, folk, dance and pop all on offer.
"Think live music, grass between your toes, sun on your face, a few drinks with friends, that is what The Rose Tree Jam is about, and we have booked the sunshine.
"Mark Ronson will be performing some of his massive hits, such as Valerie, with his 17 strong live band The Version Players."
Ronson will take to the stage as the headline act on June 27 and will be supported by Sam Sparro and Calvin Harris.
The festival is on June 27 and 28. For tickets www.therosetreejam.com or call 08700 600 958.
