MUSIC fans are in for a feast this summer as Bowood plays host to an eclectic mix of bands and artists.
First up will be guitar playing songstress KT Tunstall and Indie Britpop boy band Athlete, who will be playing Bowood on June 28 as part of The Rose Tree Jam.
Headlining artists for June 27 have yet to be announced.
Next up will be Indie boy band The Feeling on July 25, which has been confirmed along with Welsh songbird and reality TV star Cerys Matthews and Joan Armatrading.
In September it will be the turn of pop sirens Girls Aloud who will play as part of the outdoor summer concert season on September 14.
Legendary reggae group UB40 are also coming back for their second summer concert on September 13.
Rock fans can catch The Levellers, supported by Mercury Music Prize nominee Seth Lackman, on September 12.
The Levellers, who are celebrating 20 years of making music, are best known for their Indie hits One Way, Hope Street and What a Beautiful Day.
For more chilled out music fans the Proms will be held at Bowood on August 16 with a laid back Soul on Sunday concert on August 17.
Another big event in the Bowood calendar is the popular Crimestoppers event, sponsored by the Gazette, on August 31.
Actor and 1980s pop star Jason Donovan has been confirmed as the headline act at the family fun day.
He will joined by teen boy band Blazin' Squad and singer, Kavanagh, on August 31. Reality TV duo Same Difference will also be performing. The clean cut brother and sister duo, who narrowly missed out on being crowned X-Factor winners last year.
Crimestoppers organisers have said that, despite the star booking, they are still searching for up to two other big names to add to the line-up at the celebrity packed event.
The star studded line-ups are something of a coup for events manager Lady Arabella Unwin, daughter of Lord Lansdowne.
She said although Bowood will be playing host to more summer events than ever, the house and gardens will remain a natural beauty spot.
Lady Unwin said: "Hosting more events is just natural growth for Bowood. I have to be quite careful because it is my father's home so it is not a question of anything goes. The concerts are something that I love doing and year by year are improving.
"UB40 are coming back because they loved Bowood. They loved the fact it was not just a field but it was a park with beautiful views. There is no more room on the calendar to host more concerts
Having people camp at Bowood would be a logistical nightmare but the promoters have organised shuttle buses to local campsites for people to stay in."
