In recent years many of the big manufacturers of English china have moved production overseas so, as many collectors turn from the new back to the old, it was a natural progression for us to supply what our customers wanted.

This in turn has led us into a wider field of antiques and vintage items that we source from around the globe as well as closer to home.

Many of the items come with interesting stories attached and our customers love hearing about their new acquisitions. Having made and restored porcelain dolls for quite some time it’s great when a doll comes to us for some TLC and we help them back to their former glory. Recently a customer had his wife’s childhood doll restored for their golden wedding. She was over the moon as it had been in a drawer for many years.

For cleaning antique or stained china soak in BIO TEX, it’s bleach free so won’t harm it.

Don’t be misled, brass looks and feels like gold but will stick to a magnet. Real gold doesn’t.
