The Property

This detached home was built in 1966 and has elevations of Bradstone beneath a tile covered roof and has been much improved by the current owners over the last five or so years. They have reconfigured the accommodation, replaced most of the windows and created a comfortable family home. There is further potential to incorporate the garage into the living accommodation if required, subject to obtaining the necessary consent. The large windows and east-west aspect afford most rooms good natural light.

The Accommodation

A porch shelters the front door which leads into the spacious hall. Stairs lead off to the first floor and there is a cloakroom at the rear. On the left, double doors lead into the dual aspect sitting room which has a wood block floor and a brick fireplace fitted with a log burning stove. On the right of the hall is the large dual aspect kitchen/dining room which has a range of units with wooden work surfaces. The tiled floor continues into the adjacent utility room which has a useful second sink and the boiler. There are two external doors, an internal door to the garage and a further door to the snug, which has double doors into the garden. On the first floor, the dual aspect landing provides a study area and has access to the boarded loft with light. The master bedroom has a dressing room and en suite shower. There are three other double bedrooms and a large family bathroom, with separate shower enclosure.

Outside

Five bar and pedestrian gate to a parking and turning area adjacent to the house. Private front garden with lawn and high stone wall, screened from the lane by mature shrubs.
