Situation and Description

This parcel of land is situated at the end of a row of houses in a rural position close to the village. Market Lavington is a large village on the edge of Salisbury Plain about 6 miles south of Devizes. There is a wide selection of local amenities to include a hairdressers, butchers, chemist, doctors surgery, junior and senior schools and public houses.

The land which is slightly elevated from the road comprises a partially enclosed rough area of grass alongside 26 Spin Hill. It is approached via an unmade bridleway which leads to the adjoining farmland.

Planning consent for an affordable housing bungalow was granted by Wiltshire council under Application No 14/11246/OUT on 8th October 2015. This application also comprised land from the adjoining properties so is not valid for just this parcel of land. There could be potential for future development (subject to planning).

The extent of the land is shown edged red for identification purposes only on the aerial photograph and extends in total to about 0.12 acre.

Directions

From Devizes proceed south on the Potterne Road passing through Potterne. At the crossroads turn left towards Market Lavington and continue up and over the brow. The land is along on the left.
