The property is a beautifully presented modern detached family house offering well laid out accommodation. The house was built in 1999 of brick construction under a thatched roof of water reed. The sitting room has an open fire with stone surround and solid oak flooring runs through to the separate dining room. Of particular note is the Kitchen/breakfast room, this has a good range of wall and floor units with French windows onto the patio area. Upstairs the main bedroom benefits from an en suite shower room and two double built in wardrobes. There is a family bathroom and three further bedrooms. In all this is an excellent house offering much charm and character and set on the outskirts of this popular village with easy access to the glorious surrounding countryside.

The village of Cherhill is a picturesque Wiltshire village dominated by its white horse and monument. Dr Alsop, a local landowner, cut the White Horse into the downs in 1780. The impressive monument, The Landsdowne Obelisk was built to commemorate Sir William Petty, the 17th Century Economist, by one of his descendants, the 3rd Marquess of Lansdowne. The village lies to the north of the A4 road and is full of interesting street names such as "Labour-in-vain-hill" and Broth Lane. The village has a primary school, a public house, a fine church and an active village community. Excellent shopping and recreational facilities are offered by the nearby market towns of Marlborough, Calne and Devizes, while the larger commercial centres of Chippenham and Swindon both have stations with services to London Paddington and access to the M4 motorway. The surrounding downland countryside is designated as An Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and it is also an area of great historical interest and significance with ancient settlements and burial sites including the nearby stone circle at Avebury (a World Heritage Site) and Silbury Hill. There are many footpaths and bridleways around the village making it ideal for walking and riding (there is a livery stable within close proximity).

The house is approached over a shared gravel drive with ample parking and a detached garage which has light and power and a side door. There is a paved area to the front with side access to the rear garden. The south easterly facing rear garden is mainly laid to lawn with mature shrub borders and a good sized patio area ideal for outside entertaining.
