THE sudden death of mum-of-four Joanna O'Callaghan has shocked the Westcroft community in Chippenham.

Mrs O'Callaghan, 38, was a popular face in the town and was well known in the pubs and clubs.

She died suddenly at home in Westcroft on April 10 while breastfeeding her four-month old daughter Ruby.

It is not yet known how she died as a post-mortem was inconclusive.

Mrs O'Callaghan moved to Chippenham from Manchester 12 years ago after she wanted a quieter life with her children Kieran, 20, Katy, 15 and Libby, 13.

She was a proud mother and had been in a relationship with her soul mate' Paul Deville for 18 months.

Son Kieran said: "My mum was full of life and was always there for you when you needed anything.

"Everyone around here knew her and she was really popular with everyone.

"Her family were everything to her and she was never happier than just being close to her children.

"She was so proud of her home in Chippenham and would scowl at me if I even moved an ornament out of place.

"She had a tough time in Manchester and was just starting to get back to being completely at ease with the world.

"She was the best mum anyone could wish for and she has left a massive hole in our lives.

"We are just going to pull together as a family, which is what my mum would have wanted."

Mrs O'Callaghan had no history of illness, but her father and grandfather both died from brain haemorrhages.

Her funeral details have not yet been finalised, but anyone wishing to attend should contact FW Jones and Sons funeral directors on (01249) 652525.

I'm desperately trying to get hold of you Kieran if you see this. I'm so sorry Tony and I didn't stay in touch when we moved life has been so crazy and the only number I have for you (out of an old address book) isn't working.

We have been there for you before and we will be again all you have to do is ask, I have left my new number with the funeral directors. Anything big or small we ARE here for all of you, please get in touch if there is anything at all we can do. Night or day.

Words are not enough to say how sorry I am this has happened, nor can they describe how much we think and pray for you.

Please send my love to Katy and Libby, please get in touch if you need us, everything that happened with the car is ancient history please don't let that stop you getting in touch.

You are in our thoughts prayers and hearts. I can't find the words. I wish I could say something more comforting but words never seem enough.

Much Love

Chloe Tony and Kira
