Alistair David Lyall, 43, was remembered by a large congregation at a packed thanksgiving service in St Bartholomew’s Church, Royal Wootton Bassett. Balloons, in the colours of the rainbow, adorned the altar, and afterwards were released in the churchyard, amid applause as they soared skyward, in final tribute.
