Proud dad John Summers stands with six of his daughters, three brides and three bridesmaids, in this picture taken in 1939. Brides Aline, Mildred and Laura were married at St Paul’s Church, Chippenham and were attended by their sisters, Peggy, Ruby and Ivy. Older sisters, Ella and Florence and brothers Raymond and Charlie are not shown. The photograph was brought in by Derek Golding of Coniston Road, Chippenham.
