How many of us feel like life is all work and no play? Sadly for many children like 16-year-old Goodson who I met in Malawi, they have very little chance to play and are often forced to care for their younger brothers and sisters. Goodson lost his parents to Aids. He now looks after his two younger sisters. read more

One of my first experiences when I moved to this area over 15 years ago was to watch a performance by the Major Wrecks. The temperature was over 95 degrees and sweat was running through the make-up on the faces of men of all shapes and sizes as they entertained the pupils, parents, staff and friends at Rowdeford during the annual school fete. read more
