  I live near to the house in Malmesbury which suffered a fearful gas explosion. read more

• Just say no

  There has been a noticeable lack of a public debate on the Wiltshire county bid for unitary status, a bid that will be disastrous for the beleaguered council tax payers of North Wiltshire. read more

• A backward step

  I apologise to those many Calne residents who regularly pass St Cecilia's, Curzon Street, for not encouraging North Wiltshire's development control committee to rethink the proposed development at St Cecilia's, which if it comes to fruition will endanger life and limb of the pedestrians. read more

  What the Kennet District Council's spokesman in last week's Gazette (May 24) failed to make clear was that after the Corn Exchange Flea Market, the stallholders take only six to ten minutes to load their cars, which represents just one per cent or 11.5 per cent of the day-long parking ban in Station Road and at no time causes a hazard to other traffic using the road. read more
