Devizes B claim local derby win
Moonraker Netball League Match Reports: Dev B 48 v Chippenham B 24: On a very cold evening Dev seemed to cope better with the conditions and were 2 goals up quickly but within minutes the scores were level. The first quarter continued in this vein - goal for goal. Devizes continued playing controlled netball, putting pressure on Chippenham's every pass. Through this play they managed to turn over a few balls, regaining possession and the shooters converted, opening up a good gap. In the third quarter Dev rotated their defence and shooting pairs and still maintained their goal rate. Chip rallied in the final quarter but the gap was too much to close down. read more
