    GIFT for a Child Evening on December 1 was the day that Henley Regatta appeared in Marlborough High Street. Flippers were more suitable than shoes and two of our committee members went missing. Rescue teams were scrambled. read more

    THE decision by the Kennet and North Wilts PCT to reduce the opening hours of the Devizes Minor Injury Unit is a further step to cut back on the service offered at Devizes Hospital and must be deplored. read more

    I AM concerned to see what is currently happening with local health services but do not take the gloomy view that many have voiced. I see it as part of the transitional phase which is inevitable as health care provision changes from the current model to what is essential for the future. read more
