Customers can be confident in company

A SWINDON window firm says it's raising the roof on its customer confidence.

Town And Country Windows has gained accreditation to the K2 Approved Installer Scheme, one of the most stringent in the home improvement sector.

The company says the nationally recognised quality assurance scheme, which is backed by the Federation of Master Builders, will give its customers confidence in their workmanship.

Managing directors Mike Papa and Sav Fruci said: "Joining the Approved Installer accreditation involved a thorough audit procedure that has encouraged us to examine how we serve our customers and enhance our operations.

"It has also formalised our customer commitment, providing an endorsement from an independent body that will enable homeowners to be really sure of the excellent standards they'll receive from us."

Sally Fielding, the managing director of K2, said: "Most householders have come to accept that they run the risk of hiring a 'cowboy builder' when they want to improve their home but we believe they shouldn't have to. With the new scheme, we can ensure our installers are thoroughly audited and required to comply with a wide-ranging customer commitment."
