Pewsey Vale 1, Tytherington Rocks 2

PEWSEY Vale went out in a tight game against Tytherington Rocks in the Hellenic League Challenge Cup First Round.

Pewsey were under pressure from the off and could have been a goal down after 11 minutes when David Legg clipped the bar. But it was Pewsey who went ahead when Harry Etheridge lobbed Rocks keeper Adam Robins for a debut goal.

Rocks drew back six minutes later when poor marking allowed Legg to head home from a Jimmy Potts cross, and the winner came from Damien McManus on 65 minutes.
