Harry Brooks, 18 months, and Bethany Pickett turn the clock back Ref: 99963-12WHEN you have only been alive for five years the idea of an extra hour in the day could be quite exciting.
But in spite turning the hands on their homemade clock to get ready for tonight's time change these youngsters have not quite got their heads around the end of British Summer Time.
"They made their own big clock and we have been talking about the time going back and it getting darker," said Lucy Hitt from the Leapfrog Nursery in Elstree Way, Abbey Meads.
"It is a bit too confusing for them as the oldest ones are only five.
"But it was great number work for them."
Even if the actual time change will pass the children by while they sleep they are looking forward to darker evenings.
"We have been telling them that there can't be fireworks until it is dark," said Mrs Hitt.
"So they are looking forward to it getting darker because they are looking forward to fireworks."
The clocks go back by one hour at 2am tomorrow.
