Larkhall Athletic 1, Bradford Town 0

MARK Hodkinson admits his side are in desperate need of a win after a freak early goal ended his Bradford side's seven-match unbeaten run on Saturday.

Larkall's winner came on two minutes when a cross cum shot cannoned of the far post before hitting goalkeeper Danny Holdcroft on the back of the legs and rebounding into the net.

The defeat leaves Bradford seventh from bottom in the Toolstation League Division One but with five draws in their last eight matches, Hodkinson knows his side need to find that killer touch.

He said: "We were poor on Saturday and I am starting to get worried about our lack of wins.

"We did well to go on that unbeaten run but it would have been very nice to have picked up a couple more wins.

"A win would see us climb up the table so there is no need to panic. We are heading in the right direction."
