Soccer Fun Days, organised by Chris Kirkland and Ian Turner, has been running all week at the Gerard Buxton Sports Ground on Rylands Way.
The successful scheme gives the budding stars a chance to improve their footballing skills.
The boys and girls, aged from five to 13, have been practising their dribbling, passing, tackling and scoring.
To reward them for their efforts there will be a presentation of awards tomorrow.
Mr Kirkland said: "It's good to reward the children when they've done well and this year we've introduced a special award for anyone who has really gone above and beyond the normal.
"It's not just for their football skills but for how they behave off the field.
"Things like helping others out at the break and things like that.
"A lot of the children come back year after year and it's nice to see them develop and progress."
Other awards include the ACE scheme, which stands for attitude, commitment and enthusiasm.
There will also be the PEP awards which stand for performance, effort and progress made by the young players.
The Soccer Fun Days have been running from 9.30am to 2.30pm each day and end tomorrow.
