Noble hails 'historic' Bulls win

Bradford coach Brian Noble hailed his side's 15-6 engage Super League Grand Final victory over Leeds as his side's greatest achievement.

The Bulls made history as they became the first team to claim the title from third place by avenging last year's loss to the Rhinos in a tense affair at Old Trafford.

Playing in their fifth successive Grand Final, the Bulls, leading just 8-6 at half-time, eventually emerged 15-6 winners after tries from man-of-the-match Leon Pryce and the indomitable Lesley Vainikolo.

Asked if this was his greatest success, Noble, believing victory was his side's destiny, said: "Yes, and it is probably the best team we have had too.

"The spirit in this team is second to none, better than anything else I have experienced before.

"They decided to close the door on everyone else and found a way to win every week. They did it the hard way and deserve all the plaudits you can give them."
