Driver killed in crash with truck

A car driver has been killed in a crash with a tipper truck on the A429 in Wiltshire. The accident happened just after noon on Thursday outside the Kemble business park near Malmesbury.

Police said the 40-year-old driver, who was from Leicestershire, was pulling out of a side entrance in his Audi and collided with the truck.

He died at the scene of the crash. The tipper driver was shaken, but unhurt.

The road was closed for five hours.
