Firefighter is charged

A Wiltshire firefighter has been charged with indecent assault over a string of attacks on women.

Adrian Warburton, 36, who works at Trowbridge fire station, has been charged with nine counts of indecent assault, dating between October 2004 and July 2005.

Warburton was arrested on Friday and is due before magistrates in Bath today, Avon and Somerset Police said.

A team of 24 officers and staff have been working on the case since police linked a series of sex attacks in Bath.

Warburton is a firefighter with Wiltshire Fire Brigade, which said it was co-operating with police.
