New pledge for the council to adopt

I READ with interest the council's 50 Pledges, perhaps, no they should add another one. Pledge 51 Improve communication.

I e-mailed customer services with regard to insufficient supply of recycling boxes on August 11 and was told this would be passed to Swindon Services. Three e-mails and six weeks later I eventually received a reply.

After wading through paragraphs of the history of recycling I came across what I was complaining about in the first instance.

Hooray, Swindon Services has come to its senses and has agreed that one small recycling box is simply not enough. They will be supplying extra boxes free for those who require them.
