WILTSHIRE LEAGUE: Down Ampney did well to hold league leaders Corsham Town to a 2-2 draw on their own ground in an entertaining top-of-the-table clash.

In an exciting first half, Ross Lye gave the home side the lead on 20 minutes with Terry Moore heading an equaliser ten minutes later.
Tyrone Stevens then gave Ampney the lead with a left-footer from 12 yards into the bottom corner, but a few minutes later Gareth Millings equalised again.

Assistant boss Ian Rendell said: "We had a word or two during the interval and the lads responded well in the second half scoring five and playing some good stuff. We were well pleased with the result."

Marlborough Town found their shooting boots against visitors Shrewton United, running out 7-0 winners with the goals shared among Brad Mildon, Neil Robinson, Tom Mildenhall in the first half and Stuart Greenlees, Richard Jackson, Robin Simpson and Adam Legge after the break.
Bromham skipper Tom Paget converted a spot kick to give his side a 1-0 win over Calne Town, the visitors missing a great chance to salvage a point in the last minute.
Matt Messenger and Gary Higdon scored two apiece together with a strike from Dan King to enable Melksham to go in at the break 5-0 up against visitors Westbury United.
Jamie Bradley scored a consolation in the second half for the visitors.
In Junior Division One, AFC Abbey Rodbourne did well to pick up three points at Biddestone, beating the home side 3-1 with goals from Robbie Etherington, Kevin Brown and Richie Unwin.
Lower Stratton fought hard against visitors Castle Combe before going down 4-2.

Mark Brimson scored twice in his first game back since injury and Alex Whitehall adding a third.
Westside Reserves, looking for their first win of the season, were 3-1 up at one stage against Bromham Reserves, but the visitors fought back to share a 3-3 draw.
