Honours are even

Match of the weekend in the Premier Division was between unbeaten sides Southbrook and Shield & Dagger.

Both teams battled for 90 minutes and the game ended in a 1-1 draw Dave Pritchard scoring for Southbrook.

Queensfield edged out Liden 2-1, Danny Hiscocks scoring both for the winners. Liden's goal came from Jason Kearns.

Second-placed Zurich kept the pace up with a 4-0 win over Green Baize.

Their scorers were Craig Alexander, Dave Amey, Andy White and Richard Jones.

In Division One, Spectrum secured their third successive victory, 1-0 against Lower Stratton, with a fine headed goal from Craig Andrews leaving them in second place in the table.

Walcot had an unfortunate game, giving an own goal to Wason & Webb, who won 1-0.

Eastville had a 5-1 victory over Rodbourne, with Chris Rivers netting a hat-trick followed by goals from Shaun Hewitt and Neil Grey for Eastville.

Green Baize Reserves went down 5-3 to Merlin, whose scorers were were Dean Scott (2), Andrew Porter (2) and Paul Thompson.

Abbey Rodbourne Reserves stayed joint second with Spectrum after a 4-2 win over Ramsbury.

Ricky Oliver and Kelvin Spencer each netted twice for the winning side. Ramsbury scorers were Jeremy Martin and Dave Wheeler.
