Frank set to say no to Calne approach

FRANK Coleman will turn down a potential move to Toolstation League Premier Division rivals Calne Town in favour of fighting for a first team place at Corsham Town.

The flying winger was the subject of a seven days' notice of approach from the Lillywhites last week but even before speaking to them, Coleman was insistant he was happy where he is.

Coleman, 34, is in his fourth spell at the Southbank having played for them for the last 20 years on and off and believes it is not the right time for another move although will talk to Calne in the next few days.

He said: "I have just got back in the Corsham side and so I don't feel it would be right for me to move on. I scored in the first game back and hopefully can now keep my place in the side.

"It is very nice to be wanted and is flattering. I don't think other teams have realised I have been out due to getting married and picking up an injury."
