MELKSHAM Town Reserves moved in to the second round of the Corsham Print Senior Cup with a 4-3 win over visitors Devizes Town Reserves.

Dan King (2), Dave Macey and Lee Stevenson were on target in a closely fought tie.

Premier Division leaders Corsham Town Reserves visited Purton Reserves in the second round and came away 4-1 winners. Top marksman Adam Taylor scored twice, with further goals from Ross Lye and Tom Bond.

AFC Trowbridge beat New College 3-0 in a recent league match but the Swindon visitors turned the tables in no uncertain manner running out winners 4-0.

Gary Ashford proved to be the match winner for Aldbourne, scoring four of his side's goals in their 6-1 victory over Pewsey Vale Reserves. Jimmy Wright and Rob Grey completed the tally.

Westside were in Premier Division action and produced their best result of the season so far defeating Marlborough Town 4-0 on their own ground.

Calne Town Reserves found themselves two goals down at Shrewton Reserves but fought back to win 3-2. Ronnie Kallmeier scored twice, with Darren Legg scoring the winner inside the last 10 minutes.

Lower Stratton picked up their first points of the season beating Marlborough Town Reserves with a goal from Dave Turnbull.

Barron Heating are the new leaders of Division One following their 6-1 away win over Castle Combe to maintain their unbeaten record from nine games.

Third in the table Stratton Rovers gained a 5-1 away success at Biddestone.

In Division Two Castle Combe Reserves gained a 3-1 away win over Westside Reserves.
