Strike pair set to stay

TROWBRIDGE Town's twin strike duo of Matt Cooper and Dave Percival are set to commit their futures to Trowbridge Town ahead of tomorrow's match at home to Ross County.

Percival is expected to turn down interest from Toolstation League Premier Division side Calne Town and sign a contract with the Bees while Cooper is set to turn down potential moves to Frome Town and Melksham Town.

Kirkpatrick has also moved quickly to boost his squad this week by putting in two seven day approaches for unnamed midfielders. Both have Western League experience but neither are playing at that standard at the moment.

Kirkpatrick said: "I felt I needed to strengthen the squad due to the amount of unavailablity problems we have been getting in recent weeks. Dave and Matt have both told me they are happy where they are and I am delighted as both are a big part of the future here."

Cooper, Dan Barnes and Dave Mitchell are injury doubts for tomorrow.
