Making plans for XTC weekend

XTC fans from across the world will be descending on Swindon this weekend to celebrate the band's music.

A group of fans have organised The Meeting Place 2005 which is being held in different venues around the town this Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

Events include a charity auction of rare XTC memorabilia and music, a bus trip to Uffington White Horse, an XTC pub trivia quiz and a special XTC karaoke.

The highlight of the weekend will be a performance by X-sTatiC, the UK's leading XTC tribute band.

A pass for all the weekend's events cost £20, which also includes a t-shirt and brochure, or tickets are available for the individual events that are taking place over the weekend.
