Course looks at faith and ethics

A NEW course looking at Faith and Ethics in Swindon starts tomorrow night at Swindon College.

The sessions will run from 7pm until 9pm every week at the college's Regent Circus campus.

Each week a specialist speaker will give a talk, followed by questions, discussion and debate.

Tomorrow's introductory session will look at contemporary issues in faith, spirituality and ethics.

The guest speaker will be Rosemary Power, pictured, who works in ecumenical development for Swindon Churches Together.

She said: "We have some excellent local specialists on the subjects covered by the course.

"They include the new bishop of Swindon, a member of the Gene Therapy Advisory Committee and a specialist from the Wiltshire Wildlife Trust."
