Celebration of Curry week

RESTAURANTS across Swindon will be celebrating the Kingfisher World Curry Week.

The event will be supporting the charity Action Against Hunger between October 16 and 22.

In its five year history, the event has helped to raise £85,000 for the charity, which distributes food and aid to relief projects all over the world.

Last year the week raised £25,000.

And 50 per cent of the funds going towards the Bangladesh Flood Relief.

Brian Dozey, Marketing Director of Kingfisher said: "This year promises to be bigger and better than ever."
