Wessex way

FURTHER to the debate on the future of Wiltshire Police, I share the view that change is needed to meet the challenges of the 21st century.

However, I would have thought a Dorset, Wiltshire, Gloucestershire service, rather than Hampshire, would have kept a regional view given the current groupings of Avon and Somerset and Devon and Cornwall constabularies.

The new name could be Wessex Constabulary.
