Nothing in the world is free

WHAT a brilliant idea by L Townsend in SA, September 20, for free entry to Steam Museum in Swindon, like the York railway museum.

Nothing in the world is free, L Townsend. York is completely supported by a massive Government grant. Steam gets absolutely nothing.

The latter seems rather ironic, as all of the locomotive exhibits are nominally owned by the National Museum at York. So a portion of that Government grant should be redirected to Swindon, then the prices could be reduced! Until then it struggles on.
