PAUL Brickley hailed Wayne Wheeler's treble on Saturday as the best hat-trick he had ever seen as Westbury progressed to the second qualifying round of the FA Vase.
But it was debutant midfielder Aaron Billet who really stole show to help Brickley's Westbury ease into the next round and set up a trip to Hellenic League Division One side Pewsey Vale.
Billet, 16, has been playing for Forest Green Rovers' academy for the last couple of seasons but effortlessly made the step up into senior football on Saturday, scoring the third goal to cap a driving midfield display.
Brickley said: :"Aaron had a fine debut.
"He showed a lot of strength for a 16-year-old and we are excited about what he has to offer.
"We were missing a few players but the lads all performed well to take us through.
"Pewsey Vale will be tough but if we can perform like that we should stand a good chance."
Wheeler, who now has nine goals in six games this season, opened the scoring on 17 minutes with a spectacular shot into the top corner of the net from the edge of the area.
The 21-one-year-old striker doubled the lead after 52 minutes when he received Sam Tucker's lay-off before turning and cutely lobbing goalkeeper Andrew Phillips from the edge of the box.
The third goal came after 66 minutes as some neat play between Tom Evans and Wheeler saw Billet head Wheeler's cross into the net at the near post.
Phillips then saved twice from Wheeler but the striker was not to be denied his hat trick as he raced onto a through ball to lash the ball past the keeper from 20 yards.
Brickley said: "I have never seen a better hat trick than that.
"All three of his goals were exceptional as he continues to show what a good player he is.
"He was our top scorer last season with 11 goals.
"He already has nine this time round, which I think shows a lot.
"Wayne is a Westbury lad through and through and I think he believes that it is about time Westbury started to achieve something.
"They are a few local lads in the side now and you can tell it means a lot to them. They are all fighting together and the spirit is great at the moment."
Westbury travel to Dawlish tomorrow trying to preserve their unbeaten start to the Toolstation League Division One season.
Brickley said: "We are certainly not getting carried away by our start. We have only played four games and, no disrespect to the sides we have played, but we are yet to come up against the big sides.
"Dawlish will a much tougher test and I would be happy coming home with a point."
