Green bible

THE Wiltshire Wildlife Trust recently published a booklet entitled Recycling Directory as part of its community waste minimisation project. Having acquired a copy I can best describe it as, no offence, the bible of recycling, every home should have one. In some 50 pages (all recyclable) it covers, in my opinion, every conceivable aspect of recycling that anyone who is in the least bit interested in the environment would wish to know.

For example, it lists 106 different items from abandoned vehicles to zips and how to recycle them. There is much more besides.

If only those sad people who think the best place for their rubbish is in our laybys were to read it they would quickly learn that they could save petrol by going directly to their local recycling centre rather than driving out and spoiling the countryside.

Well done Wiltshire Wildlife Trust, copies obtainable from (01380) 725670 or online at www.wiltshirewildlife.org
