Corporate demand grows

STAGECRAFT, the Salisbury staging and live events company, is celebrating 25 years in business.

Managing director David Goodrich said the last few years had seen massive growth in the fields of drama and education and the manufacture of more sophisticated and affordable equipment.

"The trend has continued in the corporate sector where our clients now demand productions that rival a West End show," he said.

The Stagecraft group employs 18 people and up to 50 freelances working from its five units in Salisbury.

Its work includes conferences and meetings, as well as work with schools, festivals and concerts.
