Know your stuff with county FA

The Wiltshire County Football Association is running several courses to assist with the development of football club administration and drug awareness.

The EFCA courses are part of the football workforce initiative and aim to provide support for everyone at the grassroots of the game.

The courses include club finance, running a club and drug awareness.

The club finance course takes place on Wednesday, November 23 and involves the roles of the club treasurer, managing money, financial requirement and possible sources of funding.

Running a club is on Wednesday, October 19. It includes club secretary roles, volunteer recruiting and outlines the club's league and county FA obligations.

The Drug Awareness course is aimed at adults within clubs and leagues dealing with youths.

It takes place on November 15 and provides basic information about drugs, attitudes, awareness and sources of support.

All courses take place at Melksham House, in Melksham, from 7-10pm and cost is £10 each.

For further information or to book a place, contact Kate Kelly at the Wiltshire County FA on 01793 486047.
