Legal eagles joins forces to expand opportunities

Terry Bishop and David NolderSWINDON law firm BLB Solicitors has merged with Devizes commercial law specialists David Nolder & Co.

The law firm, which has offices in Swindon, Bath, Bradford on Avon and in Trowbridge says the merger will strengthen BLB's existing company and commercial law team. It also says that clients of David Nolder & Co will benefit from a broader range of specialist legal services.

Terry Bishop, managing partner at BLB Solicitors, said: "The company has always had a strong reputation for excellent client service. We intend to continue offering that level of client care but with the added benefit of providing specialist advice across a broader range of commercial and personal legal issues."

David Nolder, managing partner of David Nolder & Co, said: "I am pleased to be joining BLB, which shares our high standards of service and commitment to clients."

BLB's existing team advises businesses across a range of commercial issues such as property transactions; mergers, acquisitions and sales; structuring; franchising; shareholders' agreements; and dispute resolution.

Earlier this year the firm carried out a major upgrade of its Commercial Road offices in Swindon to expand the scope of the legal services it offers.
