Tom Mannion on the charge for Swindon Ref: 99223-68SWINDON earned their second successive victory in Southern Counties North with a 37-21 triumph at home to Olney.
It was a dominant performance by Swindon, with Olney proving to be more than capable opposition.
Swindon were soon ahead when young winger Tom Mannion scored in the corner after getting on the end of the a well-worked move.
Olney came back into the game and quickly turned their possession into a converted try to level prodceedings.
The first half saw Swindon gain dominance in the set pieces.
Front-row trio of Pat McBain, skipper Scott Chapman and Brooks caused Olney to go backwards at a rate of knots on their own scrums whilst Pete Atkinson and Andy Morley proved their superiortiy at the line outs.
Turning around at half time with a score of 24-7, Swindon were always in charge.
Neil Maycock bossed the game from fly half and seemed to carved up the Olney defence on numerous occasions.
Maycock scored a try himself with centre Stuart Cock and Tom Mannion both adding to the score with two tries apiece.
With the game all but wrapped up, Olney, who never gave up the chase, were rewarded late on in the second half with two tries when the Swindon defence were found wanting.
